Brooklyn In the 1960s
Here's another video I put together for a 50th class reunion of my long-defunct St. Augustine High School in Park Slope. Some of the photos in this 20 minute montage are not from the '60s - some are actually (GASP!) from the '70s and one or two are even more recent (OMG!) which was not lost on some YouTube visitors with way too much time on their hands judging from some comments there. Surprisingly, this video has garnered thousands of views. Perhaps because of my choice of Dave Brubeck ("Take Five") and his alto saxophonist-composer, Paul Desmond, to accompany the images. What can I say? Genius is always appreciated. Click here for video.
